The Shipowners’ Union of New Caledonia was founded on 22 September 2021.

This professional association has the following objectives:

• To carry out studies, promote, and defend the common interests of the maritime transport and services industry.
• To study and defend the legal, material, moral, economic, and professional rights and interests, both collective and individual, of its members.
• To represent all members before various administrative authorities in New Caledonia, France, and abroad.
• To provide a shared structure for reflection, consultation, and services on all matters concerning the profession, particularly in the areas of vocational training and maritime social law.

The union aims to actively contribute to the maritime sector in close cooperation with the relevant institutions.
